These are the raw chocolate balls that were made by Alison Nixon in celebration for appearing on RawChocTV in the summer of 2016. She makes balls like these all the time for either a snack, dessert, or for energy pick me up on training days. Alison calls them super balls because they are jammed packed full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Makes about 15 balls
Ingredients
- ¼ cup of Elements for Life goji berries
- ¼ sunflower seeds
- 1 tsp of maca powder
- 3 heaping tbsp of Elements for Life raw cacao powder
- 1tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of almond meal
- 2 cup of soft dates (approx. 20)
- 3 tbsp of coconut oil
- Grind of Elements for Life Himalayan pink salt
- Bee pollen, desiccated coconut, sesame seeds to coat
Instructions
- Add all of your ingredients into a food processor. Process all the ingredients until the mixture sticks together. If not, keep processing
- Take a big spoonful of mixture and then roll into a ball in your hands
- In a separate bowl add a small amount of bee pollen, sesame seeds or desiccated coconut (your choice or all three) and roll the ball in it to coat the outside
- Then place them in the fridge where they will keep for several days
