Simple, hearty and a sure-fire-way to set you up for the day. There's something particularly satisfying about a big bowl of porridge to start your day, and this cacao powered recipe is hard to beat.

Ingredients
- 300ml almond milk
- 50g of porridge oats/quinoa flakes
- 1 1/2 tbsp of Elements for Life raw cacao powder
- 2 buttons of Elements for Life virgin ceremonial cacao paste, for extra depth
- Sweet Freedom syrup for drizzling
- Fresh berries for topping
- A small handful of Elements for Life raw cacao nibs
Method

Place the oats/quinoa flakes, raw cacao powder, Sweet Freedom, and almond milk in a pan and cook for 5 minutes until thickened over medium-low heat. Make sure the porridge never boils but rather gently simmers as it comes together.

Turn off the heat and stir in the raw cacao buttons (if using) just before serving for an extra melty addition!

Finish off with a drizzle of Sweet Freedom, fresh fruit and a generous scatter of raw cacao nibs.
