These Raw Brownie Bites include cacao in its natural, raw form, helping to create a rich chocolate treat that is packed with antioxidants. Who would’ve thought a dessert could be beneficial for your health?
Ingredients
- 1 cup dates (I used roughly 20 small dates)
- ½ cup almond flour
- ¼ cup raw cacao powder
- ¼ cup almond butter
- 1-2 tablespoons raw honey (optional)
Directions
- Put all the ingredients into a food processor
- Process the ingredients until they start to come together. You should be able to squeeze the dough and have it stick together. If not, keep processing!
- Using a melon baller or cookie dough scoop or just your hands, roll dough into 1 tablespoon sized balls
- Roll balls in extra cacao powder, sprinkles, raw coconut or even sprinkles!
- Store bites in the fridge to keep fresh.

I find this ‘cup’ measuring very haphazard! How do you measure almond butter, or any form of butter for that matter? Do you pack it in making sure every corner of the ‘cup’ is full, or just put a blob in? And what size is this ‘cup’?
Otherwise, my ‘version’ using a tea cup was absolutely delicious – thanks for sharing.
