Raw chocolate on the road again!
Last year was manic. All of it was pretty manic, but November and December especially so. Something to do with a little thing called Christmas and a LOT of fuss over what is after all just ONE day! But all work and no play makes Dan and Paula, well grumpy. I'll not beat about the bush here, or try to gloss it up as something other than it is. So January and the start of February have been quiet for us on the event front.
But that all changed a couple of weeks ago, when we had our first two events of 2012. And us being us, we did them both on the same weekend, sensible huh?

Chocolate and Cheese anyone?
First up was the first ever Cheddar Valley Chocolate Festival on Sat 11th Feb, held in Cheddar of all places. Now cheese and chocolate might not sound like obvious bed-fellows, but this was a lovely little event that had a good flow of people most of the day.
As usual, we met some lovely people, and spread the raw chocolate love a little bit further.
Fingers crossed it'll be on again next year.
Return to the Tobacco Factory
Our first visit to the Tobacco Factory was for Easter last year and we made a couple of return visits in the run up to Christmas. So we were most definitely due another trip over to Bristol, and that came on Sun 12th Feb. Well I say we, it was more a case of me visiting, as Paula had a lie in and spent the day with our lovely woofer Luna.

If you've never been to the Tobacco Factory market and you live in Bristol, then you really should head over some time. It's on every week and always has a great atmosphere and a nice selection of stalls. Some, like us, are ocassional visitors, while other more regular, including the lovely folks at Beelicious who are there every week and sell amazing West Country raw honey and honey products.
In fact, we'll be stocking some of their tasty raw honey soon (but you never read me write that, all right).
