December: Thurs 1, Fri 9, Wed 14, Thurs 15
November: Thurs 24, Fri 25, Wed 30
October: Thurs 13, Thurs 20, Tues 25
Our usual Royal Mail collection will not happen on these dates so most parcels won't leave the building.
You will not have deliveries by your postie on those dates either.
Orders by courier will be shipped as normal. Courier deliveries are starting to suffer some delays too, though should still happen Mon to Fri.
The simple answer is no, it depends on how your order is shipped.
As per our standard shipping terms, orders under 2kg in weight are shipped by Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48 (depending on which you choose). Orders over 2kg will be shipped by courier as standard.
Please bear in mind that the weight is the shipping weight, which includes packaging, etc. It's not just the weight of the product itself.
At checkout, you are automatically given the shipping options applicable for your order, based on the order weight and value.
You have an option to choose Courier shipping or Express Shipping Upgrade. Both of these services are sent by courier (usually DHL Express) and so should not be affected by the Royal Mail strike action.
Express Shipping Upgrade also marks an order for priority packing.
With all this in mind, the best advice we can give is.....

You've probably noticed that the Royal Mail workers have been carrying out strike action and more dates are set for the coming months.
We figured it prudent to let you know sooner rather than later what we know and how our service to you is likely to be affected.
There are several dates during October and then lots during November and a couple in December.
And yes, there's still plenty of uncertainty too as the situation continues to evolve.
One thing that's safe to say is there will be ongoing disruption and delays to deliveries by Royal Mail throughout this period, most likely extending beyond the strike dates themselves due to backlog.
The image below is the backlog at a typical Royal Mail distribution centre on 10 Dec!
As always, we'll do our best to get your order shipped out as quickly as possible. All we ask for a little patience to take into account all the above.
We'll also keep this blog post updated with any developments and try our best to make sure there are relevant messages across our website too.
Warm wishes,
Paula and Dan x
