Shortlisted for the FreeFrom Food Awards!

Amazingly this is my first blog post of 2012 and we're already more than half way through February; just where does the time fly to?!

So while the year may have started out slowly when it comes to blogging, it's certainly been all go here at Elements for Life.

After a mad but fun November and December we had a well earned break that stretched into the new year. But it was definitely needed and our lives have been blessed by the rather unexpected arrival of a new member to the family; our amazing new woofer called Luna. She's certainly been keeping us occupied!

FreeFrom Food Awards

We've started to get back out on the road at a variety of events, including our first chocolate festival of 2012 (blog post coming soon). Some of our lovely outlets are now stocking a wider range, including several now stocking raw chocolate ingredients.

Then to top it all, we've just heard that two of our products have been short listed in the FreeFrom Food Awards! Yep not one, but two of our raw chocolate goodies have been picked out and we'll find out in April if we've won. Our two short listed products are our raw chocolate making kit and our new spiced hot chocolate. The awards ceremony is on 17th April at the Museum of London at Docklands, so it seems like we'll be having a trip up to the big smoke in under 2 months time!

Wish us luck folks.

Thanks Eric. Sadly we didn't win, but just being shortlisted is an achievement that we're chuffed to bits with.
