Paula’s previous work history was in Community and Youth work and Special Need Housing in East Bristol and later in Wiltshire. She discovered her healing path with holistic therapies in the mid 90’s, when she had her first Reiki initiation, and she has been training and working in a range of different therapies ever since.

Around 2002, Paula became challenged with chronic fatgue/M.E., her life felt that there was no hope and it had come to a sudden holt. Doctors and specialists said that there was no cure and that she had to learn to manage the problem as best she could. Over the next year or two, Paula came to realisation that if things were to change, she would have to take back control of her life. During this time she recalled how a Shiatsu session had relieved her of back pain during pregnancy and how it had made a connection inside that has never left. This was the catalyst for change Paula needed!

Paula joined the Bristol School of Shiatsu in September 2005 and wasn’t sure if she would make it through the first day! Step by step the course held and supported her through a very wonderful and also difficult time in her life, allowing transformation, which continues to this day. Paula’s health has returned to normal, despite the diagnosis of the doctors.

During the three years at the Bristol School of Shiatsu, Paula has been developing her touch and intuition, enabling her to hold sessions with clients with compassion, integrity and authenticity.This has not only improved her Shiatsu but has developed Paula's touch in her other therapies too.

Paula is a graduate of the Bristol School of Shiatsu. She has a grown up family and lives in Wiltshire with her husband.
